In 2016, Corners Gallery hosted an invitational exhibit titled, “You Are Here: Contemporary Mapping”. This group show was inspired by the book, The Map as Art: Contemporary Artists Explore Cartography by Katherine Harmon and featured eight artists.

In 2023, the gallery held a Call for Entries and selected twenty eight artists to participate in the second iteration titled, “Contemporary Mapping : We’re Still Here”.

Alas, it is now 2025 and the world is yet again, a different place. This exhibit entertains and invites both the literal approach to artist maps as well as the loosely based metaphorical concept of our place in this fragile world. Corners Gallery invites you to submit to the third iteration of this show, this time titled, “Contemporary Mapping : One Foot Forward”.
